There is something about looking at the world through the viewfinder. It’s like the world changes, shows it’s brighter, livelier side and everything slows down a bit as if saying: “Go ahead, take a picture…”.
I grab my camera, look through the viewfinder and it’s a different world out there. It’s intoxicating.
Sometimes I force myself to leave the camera at home, because I know I won’t be able to resist the temptation.
Photography has taught me to appreciate the world for its pure beauty, for its little surprises and strange games of juxtapositions.
I can gaze at a mountainous landscape or the horizon splitting a turquoise ocean and a pink sky never tiring, always finding new little details – a lonely tree or a puffy cloud.
I see people for their inner beauty and try to bring it out in my pictures. I don’t take pictures anymore, I don’t capture them, I make pictures.
It’s a hobby, it’s a passion, it’s art. It’s part of my life now. It’s part of me.If you like what you see, drop me a line. I’d love to make some pictures with you…
